BelaCoop Animal Hospital was founded in 2013, by Dr. Katti Strahsmeier-Stoller, DVM and her husband Sam Stoller. Together they wanted to create a warm and welcoming family atmosphere and center the practice around their love for pets, particularly their own pets that inspired the name.

Bela was a Golden Retriever that was full of life and energy who loved to play ball and run after squirrels. Unfortunately, by 5 years of age, she was diagnosed with lymphoma and passed away shortly after.  Cooper was a funny, full of personality English Foxhound who had his share of struggles from the beginning. Not only was Cooper a severe epileptic, but he also had many other illnesses that were managed successfully with the help of his mom.  Along with his seizures, he developed megaesophagus and subsequently developed aspiration pneumonia multiple times.   Unfortunately, by 8 and 1/2 years old, he passed away from complications of acute respiratory distress syndrome.

Bela and Cooper were extremely special and loved beyond imagination.  It is an honor naming the hospital after the both of them!

  • We have been taking our big boy, Chuck (English Mastiff) to BelaCoop for almost 2 years and I absolutely LOVE them! They are always willing to answer any questions, and I have many, and I never feel rushed or like I’m being an annoyance. On Saturday Dr. L found a Mast Cell Tumor on Chuck and he was in surgery on Tuesday with Dr. Stoller. I’m so thankful they were able to get him into surgery sooner than later and hopefully catch this before it gets worse. I have full confidence in them with

  • We had our first visit last week and it was great. The staff was so friendly and nice! They were so nice to my dog. One of the techs even say on the floor and played with him. He also has food allergies and opened a bag of food for him as a treat! The only bad thing is that they are 1hr and 10mins away from me. I will definitely be traveling because they were great!
